Tim Swanson, an accomplished business consultant and author, just released a new book entitled Great Chain of Numbers: A Guide to Smart Contracts, Smart Property and Trustless Asset Management. This work includes a chapter on ‘next generation’ digital currency platforms, a section of which is dedicated to the Counterparty project. In this section, Tim provides an account of some prominent community members’ views on Counterparty as well as excerpts from his interviews with CityGlut and PhantomPhreak. Great Chain of Numbers is one of the first books to describe this rapidly growing industry at the intersection of computer science and finance, and we are very glad that Tim included in it such a fair and in-depth investigation of Counterparty.
