Counterparty Community Update

September 5, 2015

Two more exciting weeks have passed at Counterparty filled with community collaboration, development efforts and creative ideas.

Once again, we’re bringing you the most important news and updates from this past few weeks.

From the Community

There is a lot of valuable information published daily across all our community channels as well as an increasing number of development efforts, and we would like to thank everyone involved in the Counterparty project for their contributions so far. As a community driven project, Counterparty wouldn’t have been able to reach its milestones if it weren’t for the creative ideas and collaboration of its community members.

As always, our forums have been stacked with interesting discussions. Our picks for this week are:

Help us prepare Tokenly Pockets code for translation

On Proof of Burn and other alternative algorithms

Blockchain Validated Asset Metadata (BVAM)

How to install, use and upgrade dataserv-client for Storj Test B

Counterparty Mobile Wallet is Here!

In other news from the community, Joe Looney started another project called xcp.ninja – a Blockchain Validated Asset Metadata system. The system allows the creation of enhanced asset information by filling out a simple form and broadcasting a message. For more information checkout our forum thread Blockchain Validated Asset Metadata (BVAM).

Our community director Robert Ross published another weekly XCP Update featuring the latest news and developments from the Counterparty ecosystem. The Update is available on Let’s Talk Bitcoin.

Finally, the IndieSqare team released the new version, v 0.6.0 of the Counterparty iOS mobile wallet with sign-out and notification features.

That concludes our update for this week. If you have any questions you can contact us via our gitter, forum or github.
